Initial thoughts 1. Patriots have the softest schedule in the league hands down
2. Steelers has the toughest schedule
3. Giants gets no respect - 3 division games in a row (2 on the road)

Seahawks got a tough schedule...Pats, Tbay, Dallas on Thanksgiving, Gbay. Redskins..and i think the nfc west will be improved as Rams will be healthy, maybe and Cards improved

panther don't play anyone worth a damn. At chargers in week 1, Broncos at home in week 15, at Giants in week 16....sets up very easy for them

And I am also floored with the Brownies. This is do or die for them with this much hype. If the mistake-by-the-lake lives up to their reputation they will finish 7-9 LOL and the Cowboys only 1 MNF..interesting

They usually are maxed out...believe it is three.

But with the NFL NET now competing for primetime games...probably makes it alot harder for ESPN than it used to be w/ABC...

The Cowboys still have 4 other prime timer's...for a total of 5...for now.

packers got a tough schedule early, could start off as bad year for them.. which could lead to a young team losing confidence early.. got vikings, lions, cowboys,bucs, falcons (easy), seahawks, and colts in the first 7 weeks

steelers have the hardest schedule for sure, but it has to be said that the AFC north has 4 teams out of the top 9 of the hardest schedule.

Its not like the NFL "picks" what games are going to happen, the schedule is set years in advance and goes by Division. Their are only 2 floater games that go by what place you were in the Division.

Cincy for example

6 conf games vs browns/steelers/ravens

10 Non conf games vs NFC East, AFC south and then the floater games are your placement in division vs AFC west (Cheifs) and AFC East (Jets)

Which is why the AFC north all are in top of SOS, they play the same teams minus the last 2, which also explains why Pitt is toughest because they get the patriots from the AFC East and the Chargers from the AFC west
