Players at more than 5 books- Doesnt it seem like you beat the same book EVERYTIME

and lose to the other books all the time. That may sound confusing but here is what I mean:

I try and play in between 6-10 books at all time and for the past year I keep beating about 4 books everytime, a few of these I have w/d around 4 times in a row while the other books is the complete opposite, I have reloaded 5 times in a row at a few. You would think this would be a little more back and forth but not for me. You guys have the same thing happen?

There is no rhyme or reason for this as I obviously just grab the best number and play it but this is unbelievable lately. This is not how I want it to go. I would like to go back and forth and fly under the radar for obvious reasons but it never happens.

Just wanted to vent as I head off to reload at a book for the 5th striaght time this morning. Makes no sense. I may start the "Heritage Lean" soon :lol:

I just did my 5th transfer this year from one book to another. I win at one and lose at the other.

So I try to adjust my bets and try to figure out how to compare the 2 and just bet at one. But the one that I always lose at seems to have better odds on the same contests.

Funny for me I always lose at certain books and win at others. I've never cashed out from matchbook but am regularly making withdrawls at other shops.

same here with MB. Since they are supposedly a one on one (you versus another player) shop, than what does that say about us as bettor?

I used to lose at Pinnacle & win at Sportsinteraction all the time when scalping. Then Sportsinteraction booted me.

Did you ever think "screw scalping and betting at Pinny as in the longrun I am only losing there, I am just going to only bet at SIA"

This is the exact reason I bet the way I do today.

I can't really comment as I only play about 3 or books....nothing stands out...

but maybe the ones that you reload are just the sharper books. You said youself you take the best lines available.

for some reason I can't win at Matchbook. Always seem to lose when I'm busting bonuses there or Arbing/Scalping etc.

Just have bad luck there in general.

There's no easy answer, it depends on what you are doing. A lot of People get greedy man syndrome on Matchbook and put in a premium price, only to get taken on a price change, much like a slow Book so they are going to be on a hiding. If your scalping then the chances are you will collect more often at the Book who is giving the best Odds.
I would suggest that if your Bets are evolved from a certain strategy and one Book keeps beating it then you just go along with their view and cash but if your just guessing on movement then its all random, you havent been Betting long enough for an average to come about, give it another 8 Years :drink:

I play the leans off Pin and MB<BR>
I lose consistently at BJ and Skybook.<BR>
I win everywhere else (Five Dimes, WSEX, SportBet, SIA, BetMania, Carib, Greek, etc)<BR>
Some books are quick to respond (Pin, MB, Sky, BJ), but most aren't. You make money off the latter, and don't wager at the former.

For me, it is a very "funny" pattern of winning at Books A & C or whatever... and losing at Books B & D.

Then months later, it is the completely the opposite as I get hot at Books B & D, but lose some moola at Books A & C.

So I think we don't realize that we are just experiencing variance when we spread ourselves to many books (and our BR at each book would be divided by number of books we have and our total BR altogether).

For example, to use me as a case in point, I am funded at 5 books (varies between 4-6 depending on season). I don't have a combined $10K BR currently, so that translates to having an average of less than $2K at each book. While my unit is either $25 or $50, imagine if my unit was $100 and I play 1u-4u bets, then it is like a huge swing for my individual BR's. I think many of us are in that boat, but may not want to face that reality.

I have been lucky that I haven't made any deposits since making initial deposits at 3 books last September. But I haven't made a withdrawal either and that says that I'm grinding it out a bit.

Me too. Have you ever thought about comparing the lines between TheGreek and other books for a certain game and when the price is much better at the other book then take that bet?

Sometimes TheGreek won't even book some soccer matches in leagues where they offer all the other matches. It makes me think that they feel the line is off for that match and it's not hard to find which side to bet on.
