This is a short story. So, at the last moment (7:05), after thinking about this all day, I took the NYY @-150. The ML had dipped to -132 just moments before and before I could get my bet in, it jumped to -150.
I went to a bar that closes early during the week. No one else was watching the game except me, maybe 40 people in the room, nice plasma TV. It was kind of quiete, until that one loud, obnoxious Boston fan and his buddy comes in at the top of the 4th. Boston put up a 6 run inning, went up 9-7 and that made them even get worse. They started ragging on me and then I said, would you guys like to put some money on this game and of course they didn't want to bet on their Red Sox. Then the Yankees came back at the top of the inning and put up 4 runs to make it 11-9. They got quieter, thank goodness. When it was 13-9 in the bottom of the 8th, they totally shut up, adding 2 more to make it 15-9, they were done. End of story. Good Luck!!!!!
