I like the move picking up Walsh as the GM. I think he did an above average job in Indiana, he was a definite upgrade over Isiah. i think coaching wise they should throw an offer at phil. he seems like a wildcard to me, might go for it.

Somehow, some day, Isiah Thomas thinks he's going to return and lead them to the NBA title.
"I want to be on the float, and I want to get my ring," Thomas told ESPN.com.
He hopes to replace Donnie Walsh, 69, when the Knicks president retires and thinks about it "every single day of the week."
That would be like Matt Millen plotting to come back to Detroit and finish the job he started with the Lions.
Thomas, who doesn't seem to be giving his undivided attention to his post as coach of Florida International, lost his jobs as president and coach of the woeful Knicks in 2008. He had been with the team since 2003,
"Chuck Daly begged me not to take the Knick job," the ex-Piston told ESPN.com about his ex-coach. "He said, 'You can't fix it. You'll probably fix it for somebody else.'"
How does Thomas plan to come back? He remains close friends with Knicks owner James Dolan.
His plan is to deliver LeBron James to New York in 2014. He believes James (and maybe Dwyane Wade) would be a Knick now if he were still president of the team.
"And I think about what Chuck Daly would tell me," Thomas said, "I know he's in heaven right now saying, 'Nooooo.'"
