E Street Band's Danny Federici dead of cancer at age 58

Tampa show Monday still on, but others in FL cancelled. For some reason, this is very upsetting to me. I guess it show that part of our youth is gone.

Judge....our boy Philly isn't going to be happy about the concerts being cancelled...he left yesterday for the Florida tour...nothing to smile about now...

If you are any kind of Springsteen fan, get on www.brucespringsteen.net and see the video of a concert last month where Federici played with the band for the last time. Apparently, he had not been on that tour since October, but he came out for a song or two in Indianapolis. The band gathers around him after playing "Fourth of July" as kind of a farewell.

Very moving.
