is it just me, or is anyone else amazed that Frank Thomas is one of four players in baseball history to record at least a .300 average, 500 home runs, 1,500 RBIs, 1,000 runs and 1,500 walks. The others are Mel Ott, Babe Ruth and Ted Williams.

that is just amazing.. under-rated because of his rep ?
those numbers are just wow. and he is the ONLY player in mlb now, i would not doubt 100 % that he did not take steroids. i know i used a double negative.. im hung over, cant think of the proper way to type that sentence..

the big hurt is one of the best hitters of our generation.
best DH ever? i think so. ortiz may get some votes for that honor but ortiz hasn't done it long enough.
he is legit, no roids, just country big. great discipline at the plate, up until last year, a lot of people used to stop what they were doing to watch him ABs.

as much as I hated the White Sox, the Big Hurt was the most dangerous hitter in the 90's. Best player was Griffey

great hitter. had the most hits in the 90's. But he wasnt as feared as the Big Hurt bc he hit for power and average

........ wow..... let me.... let me take this one in real quick..... the only question i can think this being a correct response to is "who was most likely to steal your girlfriend from you if you were at a chicago bar any night of the week".

i dont know if you're a cubs fan or not gator, but if you are, i can only think of two words: TYPICAL and MORONIC.
