Knocked Up:
"You can get pink eye from farting on a pillow?"
"Totally."
"That's awesome."
"Ya... but you gotta be bare assed."
"Jesus... Martin got it bad, what did someone take a dump right in your eye?"
"No... no pink eye for me. I'm just really high."

Overall Record: 15-14, +1.15 units

Indians ML (-104) **4 UNITS** PLAY OF THE YEAR (so far)
Phillies (-109) *2 UNITS*
Pirates ML (+155) *2 UNITS*
White Sox/Rays o9.5 (+100)

Tigers ML (+119)
Rangers ML (+146)

- The Indians are my play of the year SO FAR. I'm putting 4 units on the Tribe mainly because of how amazing Paul Byrd has been in his career vs. the Twins (10-3, 3.64/6-1, 2.11, 64 IP in Metrodome). The man likes the Metrodome!
- I almost put 3 units on the Phillies and made it my play of the month but I just don't know which Eaton will show up on Sunday night. Will it be the one that is 5-0 w/ a 2.90 career ERA vs. the Mets? Or the one that has a 6.11 ERA and a 3-7 record at Citizens Bank? Ben Sheets had very similar career #s vs the Reds the other day and we cashed with him. I'll put my faith in the first Adam Eaton I described showing up.
- Love Duke vs. the Cubs (4-2, 2.01/3-2, 2.14 in Wrigley) and Dempster is bad vs. Pirates lifetime (3-7, 5.62).
- Look for the White Sox lineup to wake up against Edwin Jackson and the Rays will put up a few runs themselves. 7-4 White Sox is quite possible.
- Am I an idiot? Yes. I'm taking the Tigers again. Burnett hasn't faced Detroit a lot but 17 H, 15 ER, and 7 BB in 13.2 career IP against the team, those are B-A-D, bad numbers. Robertson's 3.19 career ERA inside domes is pretty impressive as well.
- Millwood very good in career vs. in Boston (3.44 ERA). Wakefield very bad in career vs. Rangers (5.66 ERA).

GOY??

The pitching and bullpen matchups favor Minny. I wouldnt trust Bryd with that many units, but Good Luck brother!

I do like the Rangers though

Yeah I'm sure it's the Metrodome that makes him pitch better. I'm guessing he really likes the dirt they use there. Or maybe the dome makes the ball heavier. Either way, the guy likes the Metrodome!

Half of this Twins line-up is new this year. Any past starts are void against this team this year in my opinion.

Byrd is giving up a .300+ opposing batting average for the third straight year. That means he's officially on my fade only list.

Not sure how you got your biggest play out of all that, but good luck bud.

In your favor, the Twins are cold as ice at the plate. Only Morneau and Kubel have homers this year. I think that's bound to change though.

Players Not Playing Today...

Paul Konerko will not be in the starting lineup for the White Sox today. Just getting a day off no injury. Although if suckitis was an injury he would a victim of it. Nick Swisher will play first base and leadoff while Brian Anderson gets a rare start in centerfield.

For the Cubs, Kaisuke Fukudome is out with eye irritation. It's not serious but he will miss today's game. No word yet on who will start in his place.

And if you haven't heard yet, Frank Thomas has been released by the Toronto Blue Jays and early rumors are out that the Minnesota Twins have contacted him already.

lol, call me crazy but yes, this will be my play of the year so far. Good luck to you as well and lets hope both the Tribe and Rangers win today.

Aside from the underlined paragraph, I am impressed LB. An intelligent convo that is well thought out and with opinions of your own that I understand. We'll agree to disagree on this play, which is fine. I'm just impressed that you can tame your need to be an ass just for 85% of one post. I'd like to see more of those.

Good luck to you today sir. Unless you have a play that goes against any of mine, thennn I don't bestow as much luck as previously stated upon you :lolBIG:

Pathetic day. Pathetic. Disgusted in how 2 runs have been the difference between me winning 6 units rather than losing 6 (3-2 detroit loss yesterday and indians today). Indians and Tigers are the two most overrated teams in baseball so far. Pathetic.

And I KNEWWWW I should've taken the Rangers 1st 5 innings instead of for the game but they didn't have those lines up yet.

So sad. I sucked.
