Way too many fouls called for instant replay imo. The games would last longer than an AL MLB game if they had it.

Yeah...watching the pitcher come to bat and strike out three times per team certainly speeds things up

I remember when the NBA was just a bare notch above Saturday Night "pro wrestling". It's only maybe a little better today.
Refs? A total joke!

I certainly like a MLB game to finish in about 2 hrs or so. Some batters get ridiculous with the amount of time they take in between bats. I also like pitchers who get up there and throw the ball quickly. I can't stand to watch a 5 hr baseball game.

As far as instant replay goes, it would seem that most fouls called are the opinion of the ref calling it. They don't even call all the traveling or palming as it it now.

So, you are the guy that ESPN keeps referring to when they say College Football and Baseball games last too long. Where the fuck do you all have to go?

The games are rarely over three hours unless national telecast.

The batters most certainly are the culprit and MLB should do us all a favor and instruct the umps to get these guys into the box between pitches.

The absurd physical rituals between pitches taking a solid 10+ seconds add at least half an hour to most games, imho

But this is a byproduct of the MLBPA being the strongest union in the free world (though the California Correctional Officers Association might could give em a run).

I agree. You have people like Nomar who has his little ritual between every pitch that's borderline ridiculous.

Instant replay will eventually come to all the major sports. Even tennis is using it. Bottom line the right call should be made all the time. Especially for us gamblers...........you hate to get a bad beat on a blown call.
