...Marcum has the bases loaded with no outs in the top of the 2nd. I'm sure the Tigs will get a few across because I be against them today.

But there's always the bullpen. Jason Grilli may be my hero today.

Where the fuck is Jason Grilli when I need him?

I figure he's good for atleast 2 runs and Todd Jones is very capable of giving up 3 in the 9th.

Since your a Tigers fan I have a question for you. When the Tigers get Granderson back tomorrow most likely. Do you think it would be favorable to bet the Tigers every day for like the next Two weeks, I see them getting back to 500 very soon.

I wouldn't be anything blindly every day. The Tigers can't be trusted due to their terrible pitching overall. When Grilli, Miner or Todd Jones come into the game you just have to hope to get lucky. Starting pitching is in bad shape. Sad the best pitcher thus far has been Gallaraga, who's success will be most likely limited after he's been viewed by more teams.

Hitting will most likley improve. I expect Ordonez, Cabrera, Renteria, Granderson, Guillen all to hit well. I don't see Sheffield getting it back together this year. What's really hurting the Tigers is Polanco not being anywhere near what he was last year, due to injury or whatnot. Granderson back should be a boost, but lets face it, the guys that have stepped in at CF have been up there as Detroits best players at the plate (Inge and Clete Thomas). The key to this lineup is Polanco. What a luxury for the #3, 4, 5 hiitters if he's able to get close to where he was last year. He put a ton a pressure on pitching staffs last year.

I don't see any cure for pitching problems in the names of Nate Robertson, Kenny Rogers, Jason Grilli, Zach Miner, Todd Jones. Bonderman has been consistently inconsisent enough to show that he is no ace. Dontrelle - will he ever be close to what he was 3 years ago? They could dump Miner and Grilli, as they should, but where are they going to find 2 starters? Juergens(sp) is goine, Miller is gone...how long will Gallaraga keep this up?

This is 100% correct. Couldn't have said it any better.

Yea some good insight thanks Oat's, Most likely just a bunch of over betting due to their horrible pitching. I agree about Polanco he made my fantasy team golden last season... What do you think of the DH scenario? Keep it open for banged up players to hit there throughout the season or go out and maybe get Frank or someone else?
