Mets +101 over the Cubbie Cubs

alright I am breaking out of my 2 game slump with the METS +101.... why?

Mets hit lefties as a team over .300 and last night they struggled vs. one of the hottest pitchers in the MLB... fortunately for them they are going to see one of the most struggling pitchers in the MLB today as they face Ted Lilly who just does not have command of his pitches..... 1.71 WHIP given up 25 hits in 18 innigs this guy is a wreck but he still has the name TED LILLY and after last years performance fading him gives us lots of value

He has pitched better at home but he still dayum near allows 1 run every inning... with the wind blowing out to left center and with LIlly's tendency to leave the ball up in the zone this equals many runs for the Metsies.... I do think the CUbs will put up some klind of a number on figuerora as this is his 1st START away from home this season but I think the Mets put up at least 6 so my bet is basically that the Cubs score less than that :wink:

Cubs still have a losing record vs. teams OVER .500 and I am yet to buy into their " greatness" just yet...Do not think their bullpen is as good as its start and that has more to do with them facing crappy hitters more than anything prediction Mets 9 Cubs 4

Really like the CUBS Line up out there missing theriot, and Soto GL to us :toast:

And love Casanova in there as well as on the road and vs. lefites he has been REALL GOOD

Big Cubs fan here...and have to say agree with the play. I was at the game yesterday and if it wasnt for a few key ground ball double plays, mets couldve won. Also to top it off...the cubs line up today looks like scrubs are out there...no soto and cedeno...i just dont see cubs taking this one...as much as it hurts to say that...but if Im wrong cubs win...

yeah its just one of those days so far.
Had alot of oppurtunities to get it there but thats the breaks

Cubs had the sacks full in the 1st with no outs and couldn't score. Then the Mets them full with 1 out and failed to get a run. Hard to get an over with those kind of breaks.

Men left on is outrageous:headbeat:
