will be a great player. This kid has it all. Plus he has a flair for the dramatic. It has been awhile since we had a guy from the minors with his Speed. This guy is going to be special. 2 home runs tonight. If you want to watch a player who is fun to watch and good check this guy out.

Great bunt single and score from first on a double by Ellsbury to give the Red Sox a 7-6 lead. Ellsbury also homered twice tonight. Hate the Red Sox all you want but it is great to see a young player do so well.

Please keep the profanity in the Rubber Room.

No one is stopping anyone from starting threads about Hanley Ramirez or any other player on any team in the league.

Jacoby Ellsbury was leading the AL in stolen bases and was the toast of the town in Boston with his amazing 35 stolen bases.
Then he was thrown out three straight times by the Yankee's Jose Molina on July 3, 4 and 5 and hasn't stolen one single base since then. Not one.
As a matter of fact, Alex Rodriguez has more stolen bases than Ellsbury in the month of July.
And so it goes...

They are coming inside on Ellsbury and he can't handle it. They found his weakness and he has not made the adjustment. He then is all screwed up at the plate now. It seems like he is 0-2 all the time and he is struggling big time. It is a shame because the Sox really need him. He is under .260 right now and dropping fast. They won't stop coming inside until he adjusts. He has not yet.

Personally I think it is bush league to be always bumping threads using 20/20 hindsight after a player or team struggles months or years later after a threads discusses the team or player.

I talked about JD Drew coming around for Boston last September, I don't see anyone bumping that thread. I propped The New York Giants, HC Tom Caughlin and Eli Manning his rookie year but same thing, even though he won a super bowl.

example:

I will say it for the third, and last time, like he has done everywhere he has been, Tom Caughlin will win with the Giants. Do I expect playoffs this year, no, do I expect them to win 6 games - sure. Anything is possible in the NFL these days (Panthers for example).

Dante sorry to say if not the Giants then somewhere else. Plaxico is done in Steeltown. The Giants would be fools not to take a shot at grabbing him to enhance the chances of their monster investment Eli Manning have success as soon as possible. Plaxico will make a nice target for Eli and the Giants are a perfect spot for the big reciever. IMHO Buress is much better than team morale wrecker T.Owens. This deal could go a long way to narrow the gap between the fading Eagles and the new look N.Y. Giants.

I recall that I badmouthed Coughlin, Brett F., and the Boston Celtics last year...maybe I should be badmouthing the Philly teams...
