The biggest stumbling blocks to the deal is the high salaries and poor performances of the guys they are willing to part with.
They would gladly give up any of their present corners but who the hell wants David or that Keysheckian dude when they are both awful and way over pd.
They may be offering Bush but again unless your still 1 of the few who thinks he will be great someday who would want his salary?
A running back who does nothing but run and is very doubtful in the brain department is not what they need..At leaqst they know Bush is a proven valuable reciever and if they are not going to play him much at back then he also becomes the #2 kick returner in the league by default. There is no doubt he can catch passes, get open and return kicks better than all but that guy for the Bears.they've just been hesitant to use him much for that...
I actually believe they are offering Grant and any of the previously mentioned corners. Grant has not been happy since getting the Tag put on him and still feels he's under pd as a result of that..
I think they would also part with Meachem if anybody wanted him even though there are reports he has recovered from his injuries and is really working hard to prove he was worth last yrs #1 pick..still he's an over pd unknown quanity.
