what're u talking about. The media didn't make him out to be such a great manager. He's had his runs with the yanks and their superstars and he's a good manager. I don't think he was overhyped by the media. If anything he was just praised to be a stand up guy and they surely felt sympathy for him years back with his cancer struggles.
Big mistake tonight, hopefully doesnt cost him since I played LA. Goes to his closer in the 8th but doesnt make the double switch so the closer is now batting 4th in the bottom of the 8th. Sure enough men on 1st and 3rd and the pitcher is batting with 1 out. Need him to pitch the ninth but sure could use the run. Poor coaching.
