I like Saunders, but have no clue if Masterson is any good.

Not a single chance he's better than Clay Buchholz, but considering you can't even spell his freakin' name, it makes sense why you'd make a bogus statement like this.

Masterson is a sinker ball pitcher whose drawn comparisons to Derek Lowe (although that probably stems from Lowe being a former Red Sox) and who projects long term into a #2 or #3 starter. In fact, many publications believe he'll be a fixture in this bullpen by seasons end.

It's hard to tell how he'll come out, but he's got a special sinker ball and a Major League body. If the Red Sox didn't have trouble against mediocre southpaws (Kason Gabbard, Jeremy Bonderman in the last month), It'd definitely be a game to consider.

This is true.

Couldn't think of anybody besides Gabbard, let me check the Schedule and Results to make sure I'm not imagining things.

Edit:

Gabbard is really the only example from this season thus far. Still, I'd be hesitant to jump on the Red Sox today facing Saunders.

hahaha i love it ..... you attack me for making a small error and then you go ahead and make one yourself. and yes i do think masterson will be a better pitcher than buchholz. i don't know how you can say that its a bogus statement.
