If Owen Wilson tried killing himself with all kinds of money and bitches, what keeps us going on day after day?

Funny. I was just talking about this the other day. Guy gets like 15-20 mil a pic, and wanted to kill himself.

DD, don't do it, if not for anything, imagine how messed up your family will be for it.

For the rest of the rx...:tongue2:

A few months ago I post about killing myself and all the replies were on the best way to make sure the job gets done......DD posts suicide, and everyone turns into the suicide hotline.

Have you tried seeing a shrink? Your problems could be biological. A good doctor would probably be able to pinpoint your problem.

If being fulfilled is your goal then how is suicide going to help you toward that? If life is unfulfilling then change your life. I don't know any people that have become fulfilled by committing suicide.

suicide is just about the weakest, most selfish thing somebody can do. almost as bad as asking for attention because they're "considering it" or "attempted it." just fucking do it. i'm sure it's the easiest way out.

I have a decent money, my great-grandfather founded the Con-Agra company. I just had a daughter recently and been accepted to law school. It's anything superficial, I just feel sick all the time and depressed. I've been having alot of very vivid dreams of death lately, yesterday I had one where my hands were melting off after a fireworks explosion.

like other have said, seek help. call helpine, see a doctor, talk to a friend & family. amount of help you can receive is minimal.

i will give you advice though. i would sit down, and write down what you like about your life, and what you don't. then with that list, think of ways of reducing what you don't like and ways of increasing what you like.

i know that sounds like dr.phil, but its a good starting point as you will identify what areas of your life you need to improve.

one more piece of advice would be do physcial activity. i used go through mood swings, always feel tired, and just lay in my bed and sleep 10+hours for almost a year. now i play pick-up basketball twice a week, and in the morning i run for 30minutes in addition to exercise in the evening. for this has being the biggest stress reliever.

Now that I'm pushing 40, I've become more aware of how short and precious life is. I still feel young inside but reading/hearing about others in my age groups dropping over from heart attacks, cancer, and strokes made me re-evaluate my priorities (and losing my brother a few years back when he was 26).

Family, friends, and having fun is what it's all about. I still save adequately for retirement but won't put off things like vacations that build memories for my children. I am also lucky to have a stress-free job that also pays pretty decent and I live within my means - BMWs and granite countertops mean nothing to me. Don't give your life to your career/employer because they really couldn't care less about you.

Didn't mean to ramble but bottomline is you need to see an expert for help. Even if you don't give a shit about yourself, do it for you family. They are dependent on you for so many things and you owe it to be there for them and functioning like a good husband/father. Best of luck

A person is going to do what they're going to do and I don't care if they ponder suicide but I will tell you this my friend; no matter how bad your life is, no matter how bad your day is or what the circumstances the sun will come up tomorrow and your future is spotless.

You start each new day with a fresh outlook and just think about all the people in the world that have it worse than you that are working their ass off to make a better life.

Take a deep breath and smell the fresh air. Have a cup of coffee, sit outside and watch the sun rise and thank your lucky stars you have a legitimate shot at a great life. And then, take advantage of your opportunity.

Sorry for sounding goofy but that's my outlook on life. Every day full throttle with no regrets.
