ill try to make this short... was in 6 yr. relationship and in the middle, i cheated on her for about a month. our relationship ended 6 months ago and now i have been on/off dating the girl i cheated with for the last 2 months. she basically ditched a dude she had been dating for a while, in order to hang with me. bout 3 weeks ago, she went crazy and decided she was getting way too involved with me way too early. she then decided to start seeing the dude she broke up with again. *(im still hittin it once a week)
she has really strong feelings for me but we always got bad timing. well, she just calls me and tells me that her step mom in florida was put in icu and is on a ventilator. she wants me to fly with her to ft. myers because she says i am the only one she can imagine being with in tough times like this. here is where the questions come up...
1) besides being a friend, what good does dropping 600 bucks on airfare gonna do me? she has a boyfriend and i hate to see people on their death bed too.(not worth dropping 600 just to fuck her when she is lonely and sad this weekend)
2) if i go, does this mean that she knows that nothing is happening with her current boyfriend and that she fully expects us to be together when we get back? i mean, if she wants me to go, she obviously has more feelings for me than i thought.
3) why doesnt she want her boyfriend to go and do you think she intends to tell him that i went with her to comfort her all weekend?
4)wonder is she knows that asking me this totally fucks me up in the head or if she is trying to take this to the next step. i barely know her family.
im just not in the position to ask her these questions right now. i dont want to sound selfish when the girls stepmom is dying. asking questions will just make her life that much more difficult right now.
i dont mind being a friend to her when she needs one, but we have a weird relationship going as it is. i could handle something more with her and to me, this gives me the idea that this is a big step for her to ask me this. i dont want to look or feel like a chump if we get home and she blows me off again...
