Anyone checking prices or booking their RX BASH 08' Flights yet for this August?

I'm paying almost double for flights Copenhagen -> London in May compared to what I paid in February, and my flight Copenhagen -> Larnaca at the end of May is up about 33% on last year.

I just looked real quick at SW, this seems to be the 1st price I'm getting for a RT from Hartford (PP).

I think it was $200-250 a year ago. Almost double now !

Good thing RX is paying airfare for those with over 5,000 posts. :toast:

Booked my flight on March 10th right before the airlines announced the fare increases and got a roundtrip ticket from Cleveland to Vegas for $288 nonstop.Be there on Thursday August 14 and cant wait.See you then ! Gravy :toast:

my flights right now are at 319.50:smoker2: I have not booked yet hoping for lower. but doubt it arriving either 13 or 14 leaving 17th aug in the eve

Dante,If I was you and see a flight for $319.50 I would probably book it before its too late because if anything its going to get worse than cheaper.Will look forward to meeting you again and trust me guys and gals its worth the trip and you will have a great time.

Fyi...

The venue for Rx Bash 2008 is not confirmed other than it will be held on the weekend of of August 15th in Las Vegas and with a high probability of a hotel/casino on the strip.
Planet Hollywod remains a possible venue. The minute I have a 100% confirmed/verified venue either myself or Rx.com General Manager Rick Allec will post an announcement here on the Offshore Forum.

Hopefully we will have the venue confirmed very soon.

Just booked Wednesday and paid $405 round trip from South Bend - $110 more than last year. It could get ugly if you wait.

Nonstop is $829 right now. ($870 with fees)

60% of the flights to vegas was cut off when all the damn airlines here went out of business last month.

RX probably won't need as many rooms this year, these prices are likely to cut into attendance, IMO. Probably reasonable to cut back 25% or so ?

I'm about 50-50 on going this time.
