OT - Headaches

How often do you guys get them?

Many months ago I was getting bad headaches about 4 times a week (when I wake up).....I have sleep apnea and thought that was why but I haven't done shit for it and for some reason now I'm looking at only one dreadful morning a week with this.

They usually are so fricking horrible I feel like vomiting all day (as if gambling doesn't do that enough to me)

PS....who keeps moving everything to the RR...i thought friday was day off for Wil = terrorize the offshore.

Try being in my family see if you get any headaches

Whenever the seasons change I'm a sloppy mess.. sinusitis and migraines.. good thing here in chicago we only have three seasons.. summer winter and construction

I had a headache for a year and a half, never went away. Docs didn't know what was wrong. A bad concussion led me to a CAT scan, to which they found out the headaches were from a sinus infection that was so bad it wouldn't go away. It was the worst the Doc had ever seen or so he said. Drugs fixed it. That sucked.

Still get headaches often though.

As messed up as it is, only now I'm starting to feel better.

Took 4 Excederin earlier (usually works) but didn't do shit for me.

About 10 min ago, I took a shit and when i got out I ate a cupcake....and NOW I'm feeling better...go figure...

shit + cupcake = headache relief ....lol

Are they migraines? I get those about once a month or so. THose things are brutal, can not see out of my left eye, throw up 5 times, and pounding pain!

I think migranes must have levels of extent. I think mine are migranes but it isn't bad enough where my vision is impaired. But they are miserable as hell. I'm at work today and am really unproductive. I don't even want to go home cause a drive in the traffic sounds worse than suffering at my desk.

the burning urine wasn't me....nor the green stuff.....

I have been to the doctor for headaches....they thought it was caused by allergies so I had one of those 2 hour tests where they poke you with all different stuff...

when that didn't prove anything, I went for the sleep apnea test....i have it and that cpap machine is more hassle than good.

thought it was vision related for a while too....but i can wear contacts or wear nothing, doesn't change headache frequency.

I'm starting to think it is related to hypertension....but doctor says i'm not bad enough to be medicated....go figure.

I used to get headaches a lot sometimes 5 or days a week. I recently started taking 5-htp around 2 months now and have only had 2 headaches (from playing xbox). It helps your seratonin levels, a side affect of low seratonin is cronic headaches and mental problems like depression and anxity.

I used to get horrible headaches and always woke up with one. Turns out two things where causing them:

1. I wasn't hydrating enough. Now I drink alot of water and never wake up with a headache.

2. I realized I was allergic to alcohol. Used to be no matter how many I had to drink(even one or two ) would cause me wake up with a headache that lasted all day. When I cook with wine and don't cook off the alcohol the same thing happens.

It took me years to figure this out (especially the alcohol part; mostly because of denial) but now that I have, I went from having a headache 3-4 times a week to almost never having one.

I think i share the some of your symptoms....i have had much less headaches and I have increased H2O consumption a lot while drinking a lot less than my younger days.

Only when I drink too much, which happens to me all too often. My 6'2" 160 lb. scrawny white boy frame just can't handle more than 4 without feeling sick

I have Headaches for over 1 year, I finally went to the doctore and the did an MRI just to check. Thank god nothing was found, (problem that is, Brain was another story). It ended up being a problem with a nerve at the stem of my brain and have been going to therapy were the massage the base of the head adn have not had any in 1 month....The good nes is only 3 more weeks and I will be done and that is a big relief
