I believe he was a 1st rounder. IT was either him or Alex Smith. God damn, Aaron looked good against Dallas (yes, their D stunk).

Great move by the Packers, Brohm would have been a top 10 pick had he entered the draft a year ago. I don't think selecting Brohm means that Aaron Rodgers isn't their answer at QB I just think it gives them more options and potentially two solid QB's to select from. They could always trade one of them in a couple of years when teams come calling, kind of like Matt Schaub with Atlanta moving to the Texans and eventually a guy like Charlie Whitehurst with San Diego who's going to be a stud if ever given the chance. I think all four QB's selected are going to have outstanding careers and it wouldn't surprise me if Ryan, Flacco, Henne, and Brohm all make the Pro Bowl at some point in their careers.

so stupid your supposed to give a young qb all the confidence he can handle... should be encouraging him off an impressive performance in dallas give him something to build off of rather than draft a qb who could easily be a starter within a year at the nfl level.. obviously front office isnt impressed with what they have seen from rodgers out of public view

No...he slid to 24th, 3 years ago.

If he can't handle it...then he's not the right guy anyway.

Love the Brohm pick...he looks like a guy that can dish the ball all over the place in this WCO.

Tremendous value for the Pack. :103631605

the pack is just trying to avoid following in the footsteps of the cowboys, broncos, and bills who all struggled to find a qb to replace their icon. One of these 2 will do just fine if not both of them. Im surprised the falcons didnt make a harder push at brady quinn with a 2nd rounder or a combo of picks and take dorsey 3rd.

this was a great pick. Obviously you are not a Packer fan. I will give you 10 seconds to answer this question without looking.. Who is the backup QB in Green Bay right now??

point made. and they will still sign a veteran QB as well. This has nothing to do with confidence. I am almost looking at Aaron Rodgers as a Chris Chandler aka Mr Glass Jaw. Gotta have others to turn to. As a backup and playing about 3 quarters he has had season ending injuries the past 2 years including breaking his own ankle running out of the pocket and tripping over those big seams in the turf
