Verlander is off to a slow start this season but a home start (where he allowed 13 er in last 46 innings, following his best start of the season will help him settle down. Weaver has been inconsistent this season but that's not a surprise since he is been starting on different days of rest each time. The good thing is, he has an ERA of 1.38 on 4 days of rest and 8.82 with 5 days of rest and he is starting on a 4 game rest today. He is comming off of his worst start of the season and in his young career he has been excellet after a bad start. Both pitchers have a very low run support at 3.40. The bullpens allowed 2 er in 10.2 IP so far in this series. Detroit Bullpen (6-3, 4.08 ERA) allowed only 3 ER in last 30 innings pitched. Anaheim bullpen leads the majors with 11 saves. The public is all over a +money over and usually when this happens, we have a 3-2 or a 4-3 game.

1-0

Both starters were good early, enough to give their bullpens a chance. And the relievers did their job as expected. 0 runs in 6 innings pitched.
