Cassel is Houston's #5 starter for the moment and in his career he never stayed in the game more than 6 innings. He allowed 3 runs in 5 innings of work in his only start this season, against the average Reds offense and I can't see him pitch any better against the red hot Arizona. As for Gonzalez, he is a big step down in Arizona's rotation, pitching after Webb and Haren. His WHIP is rather high and even an average offense like Houston's should be able to manufacture some runs off of him. OVER 10

Snell and Santana are arguably the best pitchers these two teams have and this low total doesn't surprise me one bit. With the rainout yesterday, the star pitchers got an extra day of rest and that can only help them. Add to that a rather cold time of year in a pitcher friendly stadium and you've got yourself a 3-2 type of game. UNDER 7

Yesterday we have seen what two bad offensive teams look like when they send two average pitchers on the mound. Even the average pitchers will look good in that spot. Well, this time these same bad offenses will face the best pitchers that they have right now. Lincecum has been lightsout so far this season and that was somewhat expected, but Cook was surprisingly good with his ERA of 2.91 and his 3-1 record. UNDER 7
