I really love this play, it stood out right away and I hardly ever even look at totals. Included a square writeup to explain my reasoning.
1* Pit/Was Under 9.5 -115
Hasn't been more than 9 runs scored in Nationals last five games and 9 out of last 10 and 14 out of last 16 games respectively. Now the Pirates on the other hand before scoring 13 runs last night were averaging 3.23 runs per game in the month of April.
Zach Duke has two consecutive shaky starts giving up 5 and 6 runs but those were against the Big Bats of the Cubs and Phils not the Nationals. He is better than those starts portrayed. Odalis Perez might be 0-3 but don't let that record fool you. He's giving up 2 or less runs in 4 straight games and just isn't getting the run support from the Nationals luckluster offense (3.7 runs per game .225 BA @ Nationals Park). His ERA is sitting at a nice 3.31..
Nationals Park should help out a bit too.. GL
