4-1 last time out.

Washington Nationals -120
Wash/Pit Under 9.5 -105
Pitchers: Perez/Duke

I like this one quite a bit. Neither team has much on offense but Perez has looked a ton better than Zach Duke this season and you have to expect the Nats to put up some runs against him. Pittsburgh can't hit and I doubt they'll find much success against a guy throwing quality innings almost every time he's stepped on the mound this year. Also playing the under as well because Duke is good enough not to get rocked here, but he will give up a few runs. 5-1 Washington!

Seattle Mariners +132
Pitchers: Bautista/Byrd

Seattle doesn't really hit the right way as but one thing they can do is hit home runs and Byrd gives them up pretty readily. Seattle has absolutely crushed him the last two years as well. Cleveland just hasn't gotten hot with their bats yet and Bautista is a solid enough pitcher. He won't dominate but Seattle should be in this game.

Detroit/NYY Over 10.5 -115
Pitchers: Robertson/Kennedy

Detroit is hitting and taking walks and should knock Kennedy out early. Robertson has struggled in Yankee Stadium his whole career and even without ARod and Posada, he still should give up some runs. He's been pitching poorly against much weaker hitting teams than what the Yankees will put out there today.

Toronto Blue Jays +101
Pitchers: Burnett/Wakefield

I know Toronto hasn't been hitting but they always get some runs off Wakefield and most of the Jays' struggles have been against lefties, not righties. It's not humid at all in Boston and Wakefield is most effective when he has the humidity messing with his knuckler. Burnett has had some control issues but Boston's lineup is really dinged right now and the Red Sox haven't touched Burnett the last couple of years. Jays avoid the sweep here.

Oakland Athletics +101
Pitchers: Duscherer/Adenhart

Duscherer has looked excellent in his two starts this season since being switched to a starter and the Angels aren't hitting very well at all lately. This is the first time they've seen him as a starter as well. Adenhart is a very good young prospect who is dominating triple-A but there are plenty of reasons to think he struggles. #1, his K/BB ratio is crap. His minor league results really should not be this good and he's been getting alot of lucky bounces. Just 2 weeks ago, the Angels flat out said Adenhart wasn't ready to pitch in the majors. They had no choice but to bring him up with Mosely throwing so badly, but the kid isn't ready and will give up runs... even against a lineup as poor as Oakland's.

4-1 last night.

Getting hot folks... call me del sol... which is French for "I'm damn hot". I don't know foreign languages that well though.
