A Ladera Ranch woman whose three children were killed in a traffic collision gave birth to triplets this week, nearly one year after the wreck that devastated the family.
Lori Coble gave birth via Caesarean section Wednesday night at Mission Hospital. The three children -- Ashley, Ellie and Jake -- were each born one minute apart, beginning at 9:42 p.m.
Each of the babies weighed in at about 4 pounds.
The births came almost exactly one year after the May 4, 2007, traffic collision on the San Diego (5) Freeway near Oso Parkway that killed 5-year-old Kyle Coble and his sisters, Emma, 4, and Katie, 2.
