Record: 54-56 -3.94 Units
2 Unit Plays: 3-2

Florida Marlins -118
Pitchers: Hendrickson/Germano

The Padres can't hit at all but they struggle even more against lefties. Hendrickson has dominated them the last few times he's met up with them as well and he should dominate again. Florida doesn't have the world's greatest offense or anything but Germano has got hit hard the last two games and the Fins do okay with the runs.

Cincinnati/Atlanta Under 8.5 -110
Pitchers: Hudson/Volquez

Hudson has had some bad starts lately but one was due to the flu when his velocity was way down, then his next start he really just didn't pitch well but his velocity was fine. He'll be okay and Cincinnati isn't hitting. Volquez is going to start giving up runs before too long but for now he's very tough to hit and the Braves haven't seen him yet so I think he throws a good but not great outing.

Colorado/LAD Under 9 -120
Pitchers: Francis/Penny

The Dodgers have been hitting lately but it's been against crap pitching. Francis has owned them the last like ten starts and I don't think much has changed since then. Penny almost always throws good innings and the Rockies still haven't heated up offensively. Gotta like the under at 9.

NY Mets +110
Pitchers: Maine/Owings

The DBacks cooled off quite a bit with their bats and they are unlikely to hit a pitcher throwing as well as Maine. They couldn't hit him last year and I'm not sold at all that their early season offensive output is going to be at that level for long. The Mets hit everyone and Owings is good for a few runs here. Mets should be a small favorite in this matchup.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays +159
Pitchers: Jackson/Buchholz

Boston just isn't hitting with all their injuries right now and Jackson dominated them last time out. He's also had success in Fenway in the past. He is really hit or miss but the way Boston is hitting, I would make hit a big favorite. Buchholz has looked very nice in some starts but he is a guy that has been much easier to hit the second time teams have seen him and this is #2 in a week or so for Tampa. The DRays are very live.

Seattle Mariners +132
Seattle/NYY Under 8.5 -120 2 Unit Play
Pitchers: Bedard/Wang

Seattle can't hit and Wang has dominated them for years. The Yankees aren't hitting well this ARod and Posada out and Bedard has had no problems with the boys in pinstripes in recent years. This has all the makings of a 3-2 final score tossup game.

Chicago White Sox +118
Pitchers: Buehrle/Marcum

Buehrle owns the Blue Jays and Toronto can't hit at all this season and that should be enough to make this game at least a 50/50 proposition. Marcum is pitching well and going against an offense that struggles too, but this should be a close one.

Detroit Tigers -125
Pitchers: Gallaraga/Livan

Detroit's bats have finally woken up and Livan has had some iffy starts this season. He hasn't impressed me with his stuff and Detroit shouldn't have much trouble scoring some runs. Gallaraga is proving very hard to hit the first time teams see him and the Twins aren't strong offensively anyway.

do u whatch the mets they dont hit anybody they dont have a chance tonight

They have so many bats on offense... they will come around.

Zona has barely scored on the good pitchers they've faced. Their offensive numbers are a joke because they are inflated due to bad pitching. Hell, a few starts against Barry Zito and the Mets would look great haha. Mets are the better offense with a better pitcher in my opinion.

I like all your plays except the mets pick. They have been absolutely atrocious as of late, and did you see that pinch hit HR by Micah? Not only does he pitch well but he scores runs for himself :103631605

Kinda leaning towards the over in the ATL/Cincy game, atl has been in a funk (4 game losing streak?), but with Chipper and Yuni back (3rd or 4th start since DL?) I think ATL will break out of this losing streak convincingly. BoL

Owings is definitely fun to watch when he gets his at-bats and does give their lineup a boost, but he is going to have a hard time against a stud pitcher like Maine. This isn't Barry Zito tonight brotha.

I appreciate the input though. Only time will tell. Best of luck today.

Thanks for wishing me luck. To be honest, I don't take into effect stats like those. Livan could have gotten rocked in all 7 starts the Twins just rocked the other guy more. It doesn't mean that Livan is a good bet to win again in this situation. It's almost something I'd fade considering Livan has been pitching really average lately and he doesn't deserve a winning streak like that.

Best of luck to you as well regardless. :103631605

You appear to the working your way back to the Diner; good luck "Big Jake".

I'm thinking when I get above even, it will change to Jack In the Box. And If I can get above 20 units (which is the low end of my goal), it will be Chili's.

Hell, I'm only betting $20 a pop on most of these. Chili's is about the high end haha.
