At least one that I know of (CT).

In fact there has only been one major league team in all 4 sports here ( Hartford Whalers-NHL).

I can see not having any team in remote areas like Alaska,Hawaii, but no baseball above AA seems ridiculous for an east coast state.

I understand Hawaii with the huge travel needs, or a state like Wyoming with few people.

Yeah it sucks not having a team in CT, but now it's probably too late even if a new team came along. Most people here are still die hard fans for the yanks/mets/sawks.

There's always the Pawtucket (RI) Redsox ( never been there). I hate going to NY or Boston for a game. I'm more used to AAA level games when I lived in Colo springs and LV.

I did catch part of the AA game in Norwich last night, but I like AAA level better.

It must suck to play for the A level Boise Jakehawks, poco dinero, travel a long ways by bus when away, and a deep longshot to make AAA, or MLB.

My first real baseball game ever was Pawtucket @ Rochester. Got some autographs from Nomar, Manny Alexander, and Damon Buford on a t-shirt. Oddly enough, Buford and Manny Alexander were later traded for each other...

Since being a Cubs affiliate, the Hawks have seen future major leaguers Dontrelle Willis and Sergio Mitre play for the club. Also, highly touted Cubs prospects Angel Guzman and Andy Sisco have donned Boise Hawks uniforms.

I think either Kerry Wood or Mark Prior was down a few years back doing some rehab starts. We have a couple major leaguers every now and again.

Further Hawks education...

Former Hawks include major-leaguers Garrett Anderson, Troy Percival and Todd Greene.

Sorry to clutter this post up with Boise Hawks stuff, but wasn't Todd Greene a super prospect at one point? I seem to remember that name on some baseball cards I kept for a while...
