After placing all of my main bets on the Kentucky Derby, I went up to play one small last minute trifecta..I liked Big Brown all the way in the race..But I wanted to put a couple longshots behind him..Then I remembered a couple of people in here were big on the number 16 horse Denis Of Cork as a longshot horse..So I did a part wheel with 20 over 5-6-16 for $12 and came out with a $3,400 trifecta..So whoever mentioned that horse, thanks for putting that thought in my head..I doubt I would have ever played it without looking at this board.:toast:
Just a straight $2 part wheel the 20 over 3 horses for $12. I had pretty much done all of my betting on the race..But with the weak Beyers numbers that most of the field had behind Big Brown, something told me I should go back to the window and get a few longshots to throw in behind him. I just got very lucky that 2 out of those 3 numbers came in on that ticket...
