Oh My God Versus

They just said THREE TIMES on air that this was the Flyers' first trip to the Conference Finals since 1997. Apparently no one at Versus can remember all the way back to 2004. For God's sake, there have only been two conference finals played since the last time Philadelphia was in there! And it was a really good series, too.

I know it's popular to slam Versus for their NHL coverage, and I have been fine with it for the most part, but this is ridiculous.

I heard it too. Such a great game tonight but it would have been so much better to watch it on CBC for hockey night in Canada. No Grapes, no insight, no national anthems....just incompetent production.

I really have no problem with Versus, but this ticked me off for some reason. Anyone who even casually follows hockey remembers that series. Who do they have working there?

I looked it up, and sure enough, they forgot about the 2000 ECF as well.

They could atleast come back and correct themselves? I have seen many occassions where a color guy get's a stat wrong and they correct him(other network); no harm, no foul..Not correcting makes them look like idiots. I personaly wouldn't watch Versus if I had 5 grand on a game and it was my last bet; they suck.
