Los Angeles +1.15 over COLORADO<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
If you make one wager today this should be it. The Rockies favored over the Dodgers is absolutely incorrect and here’s why. First, the Dodgers are the hottest hitting team in the majors and in fact, have scored 23 times in the first two games of this series and they’ve scored seven runs or more in eight of their last 12 games. The Dodgers have also won eight in a row while the Rockies have lost seven of eight. When comparing the two bullpens it’s a complete and total mismatch and it’s not in the Rockies favor. The last thing you want to hear if you wager on the Rockies is this phrase, “There’s movement in the Rockies pen”. As for the starters, well, we’d take Derek Lowe over Aaron Cook every time regardless of their stats. Sure, Cook has better numbers this year but so what. He’s whole career he’s been average or worse and now, one month into the season, they make him the chalk against perhaps the most potent line-up in the business? Get real. Play: Los Angeles +1.15 (Risking 2 units).

Playing Colorado first 5 myself. Understand your point on bat strength but Lowe's record pitching at this site is not pretty and Cook currently Is a top pitcher. Maybe LA wins late and we both cash. GL
