pick up some Orlando and Cleaveland at the current rate of $2/share

cleaveland is only down 1-0 and that game could've went the other way had LBJ been benched.

Orlando has 2 home games which I am fairly confident they will win.

Sell them whenever you like.....after game 4, I think both of these will be in the +

Not likely easy money as Clev will be in 0-2 hole

even if they win both home games they will be huge dogs to beat Celts

well....i know celts are monsters at home but Cle has a chance to steal one and will likely at least split at home.

I agree that they are dogs to beat the celtics, but at the exchange, you can sell your shares at anytime (right now, WSEX is buying them for $0...hehehe)

I just think that their value will hit over $2 at some point in the series (likely after game 4...or if they win game 2)

Orlando 90-1 at 5D

DAMN, i just put $40 on them at bodog at 65:1

i aint throwing more money on them but my payout would've been an extra $1,000 with that extra 25:1 on $40....shit

If the Cleveland share will hit a price of 2-4 than you can break even

but even if they get to 2-4 than they will be huge dogs still and you are at a likely best case scenario to break even

you are better off just betting them ML in games 3 and 4 if you like their chances

I for one think that the cavs will be favored when they head home.

And I don't have the marbles to be cle ml in boston.

I don't follow the WSEX shares much but if the series is tied 2-2...do we think that the cavs will be only 2-4/share?

Good thought Shadow. Takes creative thinking to win in the business. However, in this instance I think Biggamer is correct. Spreads to much of a factor for that to be the right way to play it in this instance in my view.

Yeah maybe 3-5 at best case

3-5 is = to 19-1

Cleveland would have to win final two of three vs Boston, lets say those odds are 7-1

than beat Detroit probably, another 3-1 lets assume

than to top it off beat the West team which will be favs big time

as you can see the 02 has very very little value

Well, i guess if 2-2 and cleaveland is 3-5, that isn't a very good bet.

FWIW, i think the both Detroit/Orlando and Cle/Boston series goes to 6 or 7 games....meaning anyone can take it (although if Det wins tonight, i take back everything). Personally, I think one of the two take the series (orl/cle) and I like the younger team in the eastern conf finals.

As far as the NBA finals, I don't think it will be as lopsided as predicted.

Anything is possible in the NBA as Atlanta won 3 vs Boston but i just wanted to tell you that the thread you started was initially about Cleveland being easy money, i hope you see that is so far from the truth

WSEX looks a lot simpler to conquer without looking into the numbers

Well, if they had no chance I wouldn't have posted it. I will admit, I do not follow the exchanges so I don't know how volatile (apparently not much) it can be game-to-game.

I just thought for WSEX was kind of off by putting them at minimum possible value for being down only 1-0 with the loss @boston on a night LBJ played worse than EJ.

The spread I was referring to is a financial tern. It is the difference between the buy and sell price on the item. In this instace the 2-4 or whatever the case might be. Makes the hold tough to beat if looking to buy and sell. You have to be very correct on your opinions to make it worth it, like doberman in IDOL.

Matchbook is the best place to bet it. I offered to take Cleveland at 80-1, and it filled

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr class="evenrow"><td>Championship 2008</td><td>Winner</td><td>Cleveland (to win)</td><td align="right">+8000</td><td align="right">20.00</td><td style="color: green;" align="right">1,600.00</td></tr></tbody></table>

damn, i wish i had $ on matchbook.

i have an account that I have never used.

The good part is that is if cleaveland wins game 2, you can probably hedge with a tie series and 3 of 5 in cleaveland.
