Is anyone else thinking about jumping on this before it gets bet down, which it will. Nadal not looking himself lately on clay, even before todays loss, struggling against Ferrer, who isn't himself and others. Also Federer getting hot. We know he wants to win Roland Garros more than anything.

Thinking about placing an EXTREMELY large wager on him. Anyone wanna talk me out of it?

Won't talk you out of it, but it does give me something to think about after watching Nadal yesterday.

Winning the French Open will probably make him the best complete tennis player ever...........surpassing Pistol Pete eventually in Slam titles.

I will have to consider the +450 but my gut tells me he won't win it.

Federer couldn't win the French even when he was near-unbeatable; he certainly won't win it now. A bad bet.

Nadal losing this in this tourney early was good for him anyways. He plays to hectic of a clay court schedule. he will still win the French Open.

Nadal a couple weeks ago lashed out about the Euro schedule and how it's so congested and too many matches. he even said something like "i would take time off if i wasn't treated like a rock star". because all the tourneys were in his native Spain.

now the schedule takes them into Rome (italy), is it really far fetched at all that after dropping that 1st set Nadal said to himself oh well i could use the rest. i don't think it is at all, and he was content with an early exit there.

Wow - those are really juicy odds!

He's been close the last few years and Nadal being out is certainly in his favor. OTOH, Federer doesn't really look like his old self this year. Wasn't he upset in the first round recently?

It's good odds - you'll probably never see them this good on Federer again, but still risky.

I don't think Federer will ever win the French, doesn't have the mental strength to grind it out on clay.

Couldn't even force a third set last time out against Rafa despite getting out to a 4-0 lead in the second. Great champ embarrassingly folded.

fyi - Another loss for the great one. Stepanek defeats Roger in straights today 7-6, 7-6.

Doesn't look so tempting now after a loss to Stepanek in quarters at Rome.

Either Rafa chalk or someone like Davydenko (can we really bet on him?) or a Ferrer or Robredo as long shots.

Does Nole have the game to win on dirt?
very questionable here.
