Baseball Betting Tips for May 7th 2008

Now that parity is the handicappers and bettors worst nightmare, bettors and cappers are now forced to find a way to compliment the percentages into their handicapping. The fundamental of handicapping games will always play a role into your make picks process, but you need to find a tool that includes parity. Let’s face it, with parity in each sport, it’s getting harder to be a consistent winner on a daily basis and baseball is one of those sports that will eat you alive if you don’t include the percentages. When I refer to the “percentages”, I mean its important now to have data that goes back 10 years or more and find angles, systems and trends that back your original pick. Stats and trends are your friends, but they shouldn’t be your only source of doing picks, but consider the past mistakes for current profits.

I highly recommend you don't play more then 3 single bets per day, it's one of my rules of thumb. It's called Risk Management. If you bet a shit load of plays today and go 2-10 or something drastic, you'll bust your bankroll and you'll be done before football season. Guys, chip and putt your way to par!

ATS..thanks for this. If I can get a handle on the approach here I can get a little more involvrf with what you provide.

Can you point to a link or something that explains things a little further. By that I mean, the Highlighted teams must represent the stron trend/angle to back for that day. But in todays list, The WSX and TWINS game seems to point to a strong Under backing. What am I missing. Appreciate your reply.

Great advice, yea i played 4 bets so far, was looking to play 1-2 more seeing on how these went but your right, thanks for the reality check, gotta nickel and dime the bookie and if today doesn't go well, there is always tomorrow!!!! Again, thanks for the posts and I really do appreciate the words of wisdom!!!!

One quick question: Do you play any of your own plays??? Have you thought about keeping track of them/posting them??? Just a thought, if not I think I am capable of sorting out the strongest angled plays, best of luck!!!!

Yes, I do bet my own plays, but I would have to hire an accounting firm to keep track of 10,000 stats and trends.
