hate being on the other side as you, but what is your reasoning behind the play with Lilly on the mound?

He hasn't proven anything yet this year, and Haren has been the best pitcher in baseball.

Haren isn't even in the top 10 pitchers in baseball... let's get real. :lolBIG:

I'd take Webb, Santana, Beckett, Halladay, Peavy, Sheets, Bedard, all before Haren.

I'd put him in the 2nd tier of pitchers... guys like Hudson, Burnett, C. Young.

ive answered this many times..i get mine at espn.com in the mlb/scoreboard section under previews for individual games.....they appear 30-40 minutes prior to most games....be4 they appear, the write up is there.....if u refreesh about 30 mins be4....VOILA!!!!!!!!!!!!poooooof..they appear.

u can also go to mlb.com and click on gameday for each game, and they are usually there earlier than espn...but they dont cut and paste to this format very well

for anyone that asks this question again...i shall simply cut and paste the link for this thread!

its a legit question and i dont mind it being asked...i simply get it asked 3 times a week. Lets not make fun of anyone in my thread, that always goes in bad direction.

I hope they hold on too...i didnt cap this seeing cubs winning a 1 run game

You say he's not top 10, and then proceed to only name 7 guys you'd take ahead of him, LOL.

He's probably right around #10 I'd say. He definitely was for Fantasy Baseball at least.

i usually dont need them, im 10-2 in my last 12, im up a lot of money so to answer your question....i may be the first but the money is still green whether or not you look at lineups....i look at the pitching because thats where the control is... for example i will see who is good against left handers and who isnt.

Sorry to jack your thread Zeke, but I got some good points.

Having a guy like D. Lee in the lineup makes a difference. Having C. Utley in the lineup makes a difference. Now if you're hitting over 80% because of what hand a pitcher throws out of and how a team does against them IN GENERAL, then you are in for a rude awakening if you haven't already received one.

I'm up on the year and it's because I use many different angles and pick which are most applicable to the matchup. I also never lay more than -130. I then make 1-2 picks a day based on the two angles that offer the most bang for my buck. For example last night I was on the Rangers +165 because nobody in the M's lineup was hitting over .300. King Felix was hit hard his previous two starts. Gabbard was very effective in his rehab. Three solid facts that played much more true that the fact that Seattle was scoring over 6 runs against lefties this year. Am I wrong?
