anyone here have any feelings concerning leaving a company after 15 years of service to start with a new company--- decision is based on new administration and current disagreement with present boss. in one way hate to throw away 15 years but somewhat excited about starting at a new company--- any thoughts--- i am afraid i may be thinking irrationally about making this move just because my pride is hurt and i am pissed at my present boss--tough choice at this age-- a few years ago i would have already been gone--- all thougts appreciated!:toast:

how stable is this new company?

are you taking a pay cut and/or less vacation time?

how easy can you land another job if this one doesn't pan out?

good luck

So what if you lose a little vacation time. If you will enjoy the new challenge, it will not be so much like "work". Just don't burn bridges. :103631605

I used to bitch at work, still do to an extent but age brings wisdom and now I tell the younger guys or other guys mind you.

Go across the street and it's the same all over,no different than here but the songs in a different tune.............maybe

But hell I worked for the same co. for 17 years went to greener pastures and on my 5th job since I left that job but settled in now.

I will be working here forever or at least until I die!
