From a gambling standpoint everything seems a-ok so far for me. Nothing great but a nice steady grind, as for the sport....

The obvious has to be the Florida Marlins success so far wioch has been stunning with their payroll.

The AL Central has been weak, led my VERY VERY dissapointing Detroit Tigers.

Tampa Bay with all there scary young talent may be for real.

The low scoring and all the unders in American League so far.

From a Royals perspective, very letdown by their lack of offense so far. I knew it might be a couple three years away, but was hoping that they could hit better this year.

My Indians are second in MLB in era...buy they're third from last in batting avg. Hence the hover near .500.

If the bats come around, cool...but if the pitching fades instead, could be ugly.

Kennedy and Hughes for my Yanks are failures so far, just as I suspected.
Also as I suspected Moose would have a good season.

Cubs have hit the hell out of the ball at times, yet at other times they are shut down (mostly on the road). Cardinals starting pitching, especially Wainwright has been excellent.

AL power numbers seem to be down.

Cubs should win their division by 7+ games.

Especially Billy Butler. I expected more from them also. Franchise on the right track though.
Highly disappointed in the Dodgers. Season still young though.

Cripe, it was good enough to beat the Tiggers today.

As any good horseplayer knows, one hits the quarter pole when 1/4 of the race is remaining and not when 1/4 of the race is over. Right now they're at the 3/4 pole.
