wow...that was a garbage inning for Texas. It should have been Ball 4 on Byrd to walk in a run but the umpire called it a strike. The strike zone had it outside. Next pitch Byrd hits into a double play to end the inning.
The Rangers broadcaster was right, too. Byrd's sorry ass should have been taking until 3-2. When you're batting .179, a walk really is just as good as a hit.
