I made a list to follow when I place a bet. I'm going to read it over anytime I'm ready to hand over my $. This may not apply to your bet style or knowledge, some of its personal opinion & experience. If anything, this should make me tighten up and eliminate a few loses. List some of yours if you have any.
Betting List to Follow
1. DON'T GET GREEDY
2. Do not chase a loss 2x (get it back tomorrow on a easier pick).
3. Do not bet on sports/players/teams you have never seen or know nothing about.
4. Don't bet just to have action on a game. Includes early games.
5. Do not bet 50/50 uncapable props or games.
6. Do not bet a parlay ever again (max 3 if you do)
7. Don't hedge at halftime.
8. Stick with Under Totals, eliminate 50/50 side bets, exploit line mistakes.
9. Eliminate or lower bet amount first two weeks of MLB, last 2 months of NBA, first week NFL and college.
10. Stay away from tennis, horses, soccer, limited NHL.
11. After a win, tighten up after a 3-0 day. Hit a ML for a minimal payout.
12. Make your own picks first. Use the internet to talk you out of placing a bet.
13. This is your last few $ on earth & a gun is pointed to your head. Don't lose it. Don't get angry when you do.
