In truth, I found the whole stretch (less than a mile) between the river and Coamerica Park to be just fine when I visited in Aug 2006 and stayed at the Courtside Marriott

RS, it's bound to happen sooner than later. The number of active colleagues I have up there is a solid dozen or more (for drug policy reform work), plus a few of you Rxers. I figure I could probably fly in, rent a sled and drive around the state for at least ten days and never pay for a meal...heh
i assume you are staying in the downtown detroit area............the class of the joints would be mosaics which is a small bar on the corner in greektown..............for fun is " the detroiter" and then there is always fishbones..................

before the games they go to the ellwood or hockeytown, or "harrys" bar which is great and then the old stand by on michigan ave........close to motorcity casino is "nemos"............. have a great time...........check out the new mgm which is a first class casino...........i like motorcity myself but most of my friend s go to mgm...........gl have a blast.......:nohead:
