Oakland Athletics -103
Pitchers: Eveland/Sonnanstine

Eveland has pitched great at home and the Rays aren't disciplined enough to do much here. Sonnanstine should throw a good game as well but gives up alot of hits and I see Oakland winning a low scoring game. This one should be at around -130.

KC/Boston Over 10 -110
Pitchers: Tomko/Colon

Tomko can't pitch on the road and with Boston hitting so well, Boston could very well cover this total by themselves. Bartolo Colon is a below average major league pitcher at this point and KC should be able to score at least 3 runs against him which should be all it takes.

Detroit Tigers -142
Pitchers: Rogers/Washburn

Seattle needs the HR to be successful and they are unlikely to get many since Detroit has a big park and Rogers doesn't give them up. Detroit hits very well at home and Washburn gives up some long balls and Detroit has some guys who are going to start exploding on offense before too long. This one is at least 20 cents too low.

NY Yankees -144
NY/Baltimore Over 9 -115

Pitchers: Rasner/Olsen

Rasner is not a great pitcher but good enough to limit the offensively-challenged Orioles to just a few runs in this game. The Yankees have A-Rod back and Olsen is not close to being MLB ready. He should get rocked here.

More in the AM.

Thanks for wishing me good luck fellas. I wish the same to both of you.

1-0 so far today after Oakland wins 9-1. More of the card on the way.

Minnesota/Texas Over 10 -105
Pitchers: Blackburn/Ponson

This is the second time the Rangers have seen Blackburn and should hit him at least as well as last time when they knocked him around decently. Oh yea, Sydney Ponson is pitching. That's usually enough of a reason to bet the over anyway.

Cleveland Indians +132
Pitchers: Byrd/Vazquez

Neither team can hit and I don't see a big difference in starting pitching or relief pitching. This is a tossup game and I can't pass up the +132 even with home park advantage figured in.

Pittsburgh Pirates +117
Pitchers: Snell/Sheets

Milwaukee needs the HR to score and Snell is very good at never giving them up, especially at home. I expect Snell to have a great game. Pittsburgh doesn't hit well but if Snell deals, this is a great bet as this game should be very competitive.
