Jose Canseco looking for someone to fight in Atlantic City

Baseball star Jose Canseco recently revealed that the mortgage on his home had been foreclosed, and he blamed two costly divorces for his financial woes. Because the dude has to pay the bills, he has turned to celebrity boxing. Canseco and promoter Damon Feldman are seeking a challenger to fight the Oakland Athletics veteran on July 12 at the Bernie Robbins Stadium in Atlantic City. The chosen opponent will be paid $5,000. 5k isn't a lot, I assume Jose gets 6 figures ?

Who is going to pay to see it if they hire some stiff that has no chance of winning ?

A decent amateur boxer would destroy him, unless Jose has boxing skills I'm not aware of.

No minor celeb like Danny Bonaduce would do it for 5k.

I'd like to nominate :

and I think Jose would back out.

Event sounds like a failure already.

I was with a Canseco look alike tonight. IT was Jeremy Shockeys cousin Greg who played pro baseball. Ironically he is a mma fighter. Would be a good one.
