It would be great if his name was Big Brown Eye and he won the triple crown. Big Brown Eye would be talked about every year for years to come. Either that or Big Anal Brown.

wire to wire in two weeks

Sorry-no way. NOT HAPPENING!

He'll probably be held back a bit early & be allowed to get in the clear on the outside at some point before he hits the gas.

The early lead in the Belmont is worth about a penny-actually less.

Shit, you must not be loaded tonight.

I didn't want odds on the last mile, I wanted odds on the 1st 1/2.

honestly tt, looking at the probables so far, i don't know how bb doesn't get the lead early... even with kent d trying to hold him back

like steak said though, they're may be a couple of rabbits enterend by the time it rolls around

Jeeez....Why even pay the entry fee then? I realize that he's never gone this far, but it's not like he's ever hinted at running out of gas.

Does this mean that we're going to see another 1:2 on the board?

there's a lot of people who still don't think this is a great horse, just a product of a weak crop of 3 year olds this year. plus he's running for the 3rd time in 5 weeks and the question of his quarter cracks. hell, the beyer numbers for the derby and preakness were not very high at all.

having said that, i definitely DO think he's a great one, and expect him to pummel these guys unless casino drive is a monster, but i'm no expert.

I think he is a great horse & I don't put much in his Beyers-it's not like Kent has had to push him(at all.....).

Given the massive $$$ at stake, I would just think that he gets held back early to get some room.

Wire to wire in this freakin marathon would be something else. I just figured that someone else would take a shot & go for the lead. Maybe I'm giving the rest of the field too much credit.
