Syracuse beat Virginia in 2OT to advance to the championship and now Johns Hopkins is 43 seconds away from shocking #1 Duke and knocking them out. This sport is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I've been pimping this for three days--excellent lacrosse! I just got back from both games up at Foxboro. A number of us were up from Florida to take it in. Jake, I met a guy from Idaho yesterday who told me he was going to the games and I ran into him at the game as well.

One more note about the games: I have been here for three days--including one Red Sox game--and I've seen two, possibly three beautiful women. Today at Foxboro there were gorgeous women everywhere! Other than a good SEC college football game, I've never seen as many hot women at a sporting event in my life (except, of course, the Lightning game I attended last spring with Billsey and others).

I don't understand why Duke chose to let Hopkins dictate tempo. They could have won by five if they went to the running game. They scored two fast break goals off of face-off violations--I don't know why they didn't run the break all day. And I hate to say UVa choked, but they were up by five with 6 minutes left to play. It's too bad, because they would have lost by 3 or 4 in regulation if it wasn't for their goalie. He played an excellent game.

My roommate said something about playing with two brothers who are at Duke... not sure but maybe you know who he is talking about.

It's insanely popular along the east coast-all the Boston\NY transplants out here have really made the game take off in Denver over the last 10 years.

The kids are all over it & well aware of it, but 90+% of your casual sports observers are totally lost.
