when the bet was graded that the book had you listed as wagering the opponent?
I have no doubt that I bet the Marlins first five today against San Fran but they have it graded as a loss because they claim i bet San Fran. I bet It right after the new lines went up due to Cain being scratched.

This is very frustrating and I sent them an email but what the hell else can I do.

You really have to copy and paste your bets and send them to yourself if you want to be sure. I do this with every bet I make. Once the money is posted just delete it.

Nope, starting with this baseball season I started posting my plays here so I make sure i copy and paste them right into my thread.

One mistake i did make was on a parlay i wanted to bet the angels but i did them for the 1st 5 but it still won.

Nope, you didnt double check you wagers before confirming. I would bet money on it.

so you think its most certainly my error?

Did you place it over the internet? If you did dont get too discouraged as it happens to everybody. Be careful and always review your wagers after before confirming. Once they are confirmed you should then go to pending wagers and check them again since most books will let you call in to change mistakes if you catch them early. As another poster in this thread suggested you should probably copy and paste your tickets to an office document for future reference.

YES!

You are basically suggesting that you made a play, the book waited until it was completed and then since you won they decided to change your play.

Yeah, hopefully you havent said/emailed something you might regret later, in 99% of these situations(over the internet) the player is the one at fault.

If it's SBG there is chance you were scammed. They got busted doing this a while back when a guy had a print screen picture (forget what their called) saved in his computer of the bet. The thread was deleted but it showed the proof...pic of graded wager with the changed bet, and the actual wager he placed which won. It was a parlay and SBG fixed it after I think Wil contacted them.

Wonder how many times they have done this.

I fucked up 3 or 4 bets over 10 years, even won one.

I blame it on booze or haste or some combination thereof.

It's easy to question the book's intergrity, but it's also easy to realize you may have actually checked the wrong box and didn't catch it. If it happens frequently, you have a problem.

You can always simply check your open wagers. I think most books will let you correct a mistake (once or twice).

Been wagering ever since you could do it on the Internet, decades. It happened to me twice. First was a loser when I was with Pinnacle back in the day. Their security department was very accommodating sending me a great deal of proof of MY error, until I was convinced. The second one was last month in the NBA playoffs, a winner on the Total. I went to make a bet and noticed my balance was higher than it ought to be. I checked my graded wagers and sure enough, I then remembered hitting the wrong key.

Both errors were caused by haste, both were last minute wagers. In order to help me with my compulsions, I have a rule personal rule to not make any wagers unless I have fully Capped the game one hour prior to my placing the wager. This rules out halftime betting, something I periodically do (breaking my rule) and periodically getting my ass handed back to me.

I double and triple check every bet I make.

By the way, Halftime betting is the crack of sports gambling.

Correction: Quarter betting is the crack of sports gambling, if you dont believe then just ask your dealer/bookie.

I fouled up many times scalping, you have to put in bets so fast to beat other scalpers to the line. Mainly on quaurter line on pro football. You see a scalp and place both bets only in haste pick 1Q on one & 2nd Q on the other. About twice a year I've done this.

I'm sure it was the books mistake. Why would you have taken that side? It was a loser.
