seems as though alot of the sharps like baltimore tonight on the ml-- please explain the reasoning for this play if you would-- all contributions appreciated--- also if you could pick one other team to parlay this play with please post!!!! thanks and gl to all:toast:

It looks like the reason is the pitching match up. Burress has been much better than Kennedy

It's pretty close what with the NYY numbers vs LHP having been built mostly upon games with ARod not in the lineup.

Actuarially, we feel the Under 9.5 is the most solid option for this particular matchup tonight.

Baltimore ALWAYS plays the Yankees tough, especially at home. Not to mention Kennedy is garbage :drink:

Birds 8-5 past 13 Home vs Yankees, though only 3-7 in 2006

All in all, the key here is that Yankees overall team not on par with that 2006 team or in years previous.

Birds are pretty much who we thought they were...A team that will struggle to bust 75 wins. But for tonight, the +110 is probably a pretty tight price.

I believe Doug Eddings will be behind the plate. His strike zone is ridiculously large. Under is the play but who knows...Kennedy might give up 7 runs in the first.
