(903)PIT (904)CIN

PLAY (904)CIN

Cincinnati is coming of a monster day yesterday scoring nine earned runs against the Pirates. They are currently 3 out of their last 4. Tonight the Reds will send Bronson Arroyo to the hill who has been very good of late boasting a 2.45 Era in his last 3 starts and 2-0 with a 2.05 Era in his last 4 starts. Arroyo historically has started out each of his seasons with shaky starts so his yearly numbers should not scare anyone. It should be noted that on April 12th Arroyo suffered a tough loss to the Pirates while only giving up 2 earned runs in 5 innings. Cincinnati is currently carrying an OBS of .816 and batting .277 against lefties this year which should prove to score more than a handful of runs today. Gorzellany has has been somewhat improved in his last few starts but did give up an unfavorable amount of hits and walks. Were expecting him to get crushed today by this offense built to tag lefties!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

It should be noted that Arroyo is coming off short rest for the 2nd time this year. He's done well so far in this situation, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing on the road vs. a divisional opponent.
