If security hears any fan saying shit to Soriano they will be expelled from Cubs games.

Taking profanity out of baseball is like taking popcorn out of the theaters

Fuck the Cubs and their pussy management

I agree with the Cubs policy.
The team is more concerned about the fans...not necessarily Soriano.

Is this a policy only toward profanities yelled at Soriano or does it apply to any player? If it's only him then that is ludicrous.

Not sure they reported this on PTI and they mentioned this was only for profanities shouted at Soriano after his game losing error a couple games ago

Easy to rid of them after they purchased the ticket. They are forgetting those guys are the one that spend $200 in beer purchases.

in other important news: I will be in Chicago for a family function the weekend of June 27-29. I plan on making my 1st ever trip to Wrigley that weekend. they're playing the White Sox...any Chicago (or any other area for that matter) Rxers down to hit up a game that weekend? I won't know for a couple weeks which of the three I'll want to get tickets for. Most likely the Saturday afternoon game.

edit: fuck, I was planning on making my 1st ever trip to Wrigley that weekend when they play the White Sox but looks they play at Wrigley the 20-22nd and U.S. Cellular the 27th-29th. oh well i'd still be interested in catching a game there...but my interest level dipped a few points

These tickets can be very very tight to get. If you are considering going I would look to get tickets soon if you want some 1/2 way decent seats. And if both of these teams are still in first, this maybe a BloodBath at each park.

The Cell is very nice too. There isn't a bad seat in the lower deck.

Cleo, the Taste of Chicago starts when you are in town. That is worth checking out too. :103631605

GMoney -- i'm not rich, but i'm already expecting to pay hefty prices for the tickets. Whatever they're going for on craigslist/ebay as soon as i find out which game is best is what i'll pay i guess. hope its not too bloody

D--- yeah i was really having my hopes set on Wrigley and i thought that weekend was the Wrigley series but i guess i got the weekends mixed up. i guess the next best thing would be to see both head to head across town

FW-- i'm about to google what that is and if its enticing i'll hit it up. read about it for a few seconds, lol, sounds like i have to hit that up as well

Cleo, I will be in town for the Cubs/Sox game that Saturday. If that works for you, I may be able to score a couple of tickets. Tickets don't sell for as much at the Cell but will still be $75-100. It will be a VERY tough ticket though. Half of The Cell will be Cub fans.

Never been to the Chisox park and highly recommend you to go Wrigley at some point...just once though. All it takes to realize that the place is actually a shithole. Atsmosphere = great, neighborhood = fun as hell, but I've been there 3 times, the novelty wears off quick.

Wrigley is a great place to catch a game. You can get the worst seats in the house and its still a good view compared to many other stadiums.... Unless you are right behind a pole you are closer to the game than any other field. Wrigley is also a lot of fun and is always packed

Far more bad seats at Wrigley than at The Cell.
