Another W

Cincy pulls it out in the bottom of the 11th.

6-0 + $600 Doin' Ok

3 Plays for 5/31

Cubs -250 ( Play this at your own risk)
Tampa Bay -160
Cardinals -150

The juice is high but I'm staying within the system.

Right it's just a home team/pitcher ERA system. It was posted early on by someone I don't know who. I'm not taking credit for it just using to make some money.

No, Play on the home team if pitcher ERA is under 4.00, and there is a 2 point difference.

Someone posted it in April, along with Play any team pitcher with ERA & WHIP that are both 2 points better than opponent

I'm only using the first one. Usually a higher juice, but I think this system only shit the bed 2 or 3 days.

You are right about the juice. Are you able to figure out what would have happened if you layed 1.5 runs every game instead.

BSS It looks like I started playing this in the 3rd week of April, there isn't a play everyday, some days 4 plays, but it has been pretty consistent. I back tracked my record, this is not 100% accurate but I come up with a record in the area of 48-13.

-1.5 ???

Sandman

I have played a few, very few -1.5, hit 2 that I can see. Don't have a lot of time, so this is more or less of "Keep It Simple Stupid", system.

San Fran pulls it out in what I call "Free Baseball"

9-1 +$750 So Far

Thechief

I'm familiar with this system and have always paid attention to it in my capping process.

If you have a chance to locate the author of this system anywhere, perhaps you could see if he mentions that the pitchers are to have at least three starts to qualify. If in fact that's true then Masterson for Boston would not apply.

With all due respect,

So in essence, a home team's starter with an era of 3.00 on the current season would be a play over the visitors starter coming in with an era of 5.00 on the current season.

Is that the system in a nutshell Chief?

What about betting the pitcher with the lower ERA if there is a 4.0 pt difference in ERA between the two pitchers?

To answer the questions

Green,
I'm not really sure about the number of starts as I didn't write doen anything about number of starts. Seems to be working, but you are probably correct about having some starts, that is why Oakland wasn't a pick.

Ivan,

That's it!!!

Killa,

I believe this is a M/L, home team system. I'm not 100% sure but if you use the system with the WHIP, it is any team. See above why Oakland didn't qualify as a pick. Pitcher should have a record or according to Mr. Green 3 or at least some starts. For now I'm keeping it as simple as possible, feel free to experiment with any variations, just let everyone know if it works.
