The time has come for a large play

Twins +100

This play is a beauty. Only concern is the Twins bullpen is a little taxed. Twins rolling right now winning 4 out of 5. Mussina coming down to earth struggling in his last 2 outings. Perkins pitching well 2.7 era and only 4 walks in 26 innings vs very good hitting teams, Tex, Bos, Det and a weak Toronto team. Perkins doesn't walk many which is key when facing the yanks plus hes a lefty which always helps. Mussina 20-6 vs Twins in his career but 0-5 last 5 starts.

Twins just beat up on KC so I am not so sure I would say they are rolling... I think the Yankees bats pick up steam this weekend... Probably a no play for me but I cant see this play being a "beauty"......

Winning 5 out of 6 on the road including 2 out of 3 vs the Tigers is pretty good. Still impressive to avg 6 runs per game on a road trip even if it is vs a bad team like the Royals. I like the way the Twins are playing and now they are back home with confidence vs a pitcher who is struggling.
