gamebreaker, go to yahoo or whatever site you want and look at who has the best record in baseball as of today?? they arent just beating the rockies and they just own the entire nl west as it is

I didnt say they were a bad team. I just didnt like the point of the thread, saying that because the cubs came back from an 8 run lead against the lowly rockies that that makes them a good team.

we'll see what happens 2nd half

8 runs to overcome is very hard to do no matter who is playing who, 5 star hit it on the head, spot anyone 8 runs, they will win probably 99% of the time let alone in 5 innings

The 2001 Seattle Mariners blew a double digit run lead to the Cleveland Indians. Were the '01 Mariners a bad team? No. Fluke shit happens in blowing leads in baseball whether it is by good teams or bad teams. A bad team blew a big lead today in Chicago. Big deal.

I love how the Cubs haters try to spin it like im saying they are the best ever... All I said was they are good. Which they are. And if you want to deny it just look at the standings and see who has the best record in all of MLB... that speaks for itself
