Bats are in a slump.

Its not a good idea to pick your spots when a team is on a losing streak. I try to avoid these plays.

are they slumping enough to get swept by the nats? It just seems that probability and odds dictate they should of snapped their the slide 2 games ago and each game that passes makes more sense to bet them.

i want to keep bettin but am losing hope - hopefully Webb can help em chalk up a W tomorrow

Dbacks hit the Giants at the wrong time. Webb is the stopper, but sometimes when your going bad (like the Royals) its hard to get out of that losing mode.

D-Backs looked poised to win the NL just a week and a half ago. Struggling to hit and not getting the power numbers they got earlier in the year. Its tough to judge them because they had a large cast of under the radar players so its hard to tell if they are just in a slump or are coming back to earth.

Ultimatley, the pitching of this team makes it hard to imagine them losing for much longer. Webb, Haren, Davis, Owings, Johnson. Safe to say thats the best top to bottom staff in the NL, probably even MLB.
